The week after a death should not require expertise nobody has.

AndWithYou exists because the practical side of loss is handled almost entirely by people who have never done it before, at the worst moment of their lives, with deadlines they did not know existed.

Families are handed a folder and a phone number and left to work out the order of things: who has to be told, which records are needed and how many copies, what can wait a month and what cannot wait a day.

We built one place that holds the plan, the documents, the people helping and the decisions already made, so nobody has to explain their situation from the beginning again.

How we work

Four commitments we hold ourselves to.

  • One next step, not a wall of tasks

    Grief takes the part of your mind that plans. We show the thing that matters now and keep the rest until it is useful.

  • We do not sell rankings

    Providers cannot buy their way to the top of what a family sees. When money changes hands anywhere in our model, we say so in our vendor and referral disclosure.

  • We do not sell personal information

    A family's case is theirs. Nothing is shared with a provider unless the family chooses to share it, and they can withdraw that choice.

  • We say what we do not know

    Rules differ by state and by county. Where we are not certain, we say so and point to the official source rather than guessing.
